What you pay depends on what the site has to do. A smaller site is from £795, and most fall in the £1,500 to £5,000 range. For an online shop or a web app, I'll price it after a call.

What stays in your hands
Three things stay yours:
- Your web address, registered in your name from day one.
- The site and everything on it (the files, the words and the photos) once it's paid for.
- Your Google Business Profile. You're the owner, and I'm added as a manager.
If you ever move on, you get everything within 10 working days.
Every site also has a button to tap and call you, a WhatsApp button, a simple contact form and a link to your Google reviews.
Your own words and photos work best, so send them over if you have them. I'll edit the words and set them up for search. If you'd like the words written from scratch, I'll quote for that, and licensed stock photos can fill any gaps.
Day to day, you can change your own words and photos yourself, whether I build your site on WordPress or Next.js (two common ways to build a website). Next.js usually suits speed and custom work, and WordPress suits owners who want to do a lot of the editing themselves, but I choose for each job.

Yes. I can work with businesses in Durham city, Chester-le-Street and anywhere in the county. The project runs on WhatsApp, the phone, Google Meet and email, so where you are in the county makes no difference.
How long does a website take?
A standard site takes 3 to 6 weeks, whether you're in Durham city or Chester-le-Street. You see the whole site on a private preview link first, and two rounds of changes are included before it goes live.
