The Lovely Photo Company is a wedding photographer and videographer in Sunderland. Its owner, Stacey Merchant, first asked me to fix a problem on her old site. After that I built her a new one.

The business
Stacey shoots weddings as a photographer and a videographer.
In April 2026 I fixed a problem on her old site, and she left the review shown here. Then I rebuilt the site.
He kept me updated throughout the process and has given me help and advice to prevent it happening again.
What I built
The new site has:
- A showreel.
- A films page.
- A pricing page.
- Pages for the areas and venues she covers.
- An availability form that asks for the wedding date and the venue.
- A blog and an FAQ.
Galleries from Google Drive
The portfolio galleries come from Google Drive folders, so Stacey can put new shoots up from Drive without waiting on me.
How it works day to day
A couple can watch the showreel, look at the pricing and check a date. The form asks for the wedding date and the venue, so Stacey has the basics when the enquiry arrives.
For a photographer, the site is a portfolio first. The work goes large, the price is easy to find and checking a date takes one short form.

This site runs on WordPress with Elementor, a drag-and-drop page builder. I pick WordPress or Next.js for each job, and here is how websites are built.
