The records that stop your email landing in spam
Google recommends (opens in a new tab) that you "always set up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for your domains", and says email without them "might be marked as spam or rejected". I set up all three.
- SPFThe list of services allowed to send email for your domain.
- DKIMA signature on each email, proving it came from you and wasn't changed on the way.
- DMARCTells other servers what to do with email that fails those checks, and can send you reports on who's sending as you.

I set up the email records behind Digital You CIC's contact form, and their Microsoft 365 email kept working alongside them.
Form emails can come from your own domain, with the right records, so they're less likely to end up in spam. I set up the account that sends them, then send a test enquiry and check it arrives.

The provider charges per mailbox. My set-up is priced after a call.

How do I set up business email with my domain?
Pick a provider, prove you own the domain, add the records they give you, create the mailboxes, and set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC. Or I can do it for you.
How much does business email cost?
The provider charges per mailbox, depending on the plan. My set-up is priced after a call, with no VAT to add.
Do I need a business email address?
It helps. It looks more established than a Hotmail or Gmail address, and it stays with your domain, which is in your name from day one. More on who owns your domain and logins.

Sign up with your domain, prove you own it (usually a TXT record), add Google's MX records so mail arrives in Gmail, then create a user for each person.
