What I look at
I check whether Google can read your pages properly, and how easy it is for a customer to ring you, message you or ask for a quote.
For the technical-minded: I run your site through Teardown, a free Chrome extension I built. It checks the heading outline, whether the page can be indexed, the length of the title and description, which images have no alt text, and which keywords come up most. You can try it yourself.
Then I look at the site myself, the way a customer would. The check you get here is done by me, not by a tool alone.
It's a first look at your site rather than a full technical audit or a legal review, and no check can promise to find every problem.

It's free. I do the check myself, and I won't add you to any list.
After you get the report, I may follow up once. Then it's up to you. If you want help fixing what I found, I'll quote for it. If you don't, the report's yours to keep.

Why a site gets visits but no enquiries

Can I get a free website audit?
Yes. I'll check your site myself and send a short written report. It's free. I call it a check, not an audit, because it's a person looking at your site and telling you what to fix first.
What does a website check include?
I run your site through Teardown, my own Chrome extension, which checks the heading outline, whether the page can be indexed, the title and description, and image alt text. Then I look at it myself, including how easy it is for people to get in touch. It isn't a full technical audit or a legal review.
How do I check my website speed?
You can run it through a free tool such as Google's PageSpeed Insights. It shows how fast the page loads on a phone and what slows it down.
How do I know if my website is secure?
A padlock in the browser's address bar is a start. It doesn't mean the site is safe from every problem. I can tell you what I notice, but I can't say a site "is secure" from a quick look.
How do I check my website health?
