I'm Luke Duff, a web designer based in Sunderland, and I offer website hosting for the site you already have: WordPress or Next.js, whoever built it. It's all online, so it works anywhere in the UK, and when you have a question, you message me.
What my hosting includes
When I host your site, you get:
- Hosting for your website, whoever built it
- The padlock certificate (SSL) that browsers look for
- Software and plugin updates
Backups aren't included on hosting alone: arrange your own, or have them with Care+.
What hosting costs
Hosting on its own is quoted. Tell me about your site, and I'll give you a price.
I'm not VAT registered, so the price I give you is the total.

Already have a website?
I moved D&G Minibus and Van Hire, a Sunderland minibus hire firm, to new hosting in 2025, and I look after its updates.

After launch, if you want it
Optional, never required with a build.
Care+ is optional. Either can be cancelled with 30 days' notice, and I give you the same notice if I ever stop hosting your site. If you ever move on, you get everything within 10 working days. Want more than hosting, but not Care+? I can shape a plan around your site, priced after a call.

Questions about hosting
How much does website hosting cost in the UK?
You can find web hosting for a few pounds a month, and for a lot of sites that's enough. With me, you pay for someone you can message who knows your site. My hosting is quoted, with your certificate and updates included. Care+, with weekly backups, is £49 a month.
How do I transfer my website to a new host?
I can do it for you. Message me with where it is now and I'll tell you what's involved. Moving it to me is quoted per job.
Can I move my domain to a different host?
Yes. If the domain is in your name, you decide where it points. Any domain I register for you is in your name from day one, and if yours is in an old designer's name, I can help you get it moved into yours. More on who owns your domain and logins.
