Care+ is my website maintenance plan for businesses in Sunderland and across the UK. For £49 a month, I look after your hosting, updates, weekly backups and Google listing, plus small content changes and blog writing. It's optional, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice.
I'm Luke Duff, a web designer based in Sunderland, and you deal with me the whole time.
What Care+ covers
- HostingYour site lives on a server I look after.
- UpdatesWordPress, plugins and the rest, kept up to date.
- Weekly backupsThere's always a recent copy of your site.
- Google listing workPosts, photos and your details kept up to date each month.
- Small content changesNew prices, opening hours, a swapped photo or a new paragraph. Bigger jobs I price first.
- Blog writingOn a schedule agreed when you join. You read each post first.
- A monthly report, if you want oneUpdates, backups, Google listing stats (if I'm a manager) and visits, which only count people who accept cookies.
Care+ is for websites. Shops, web apps and custom software get support quoted separately, office computers are IT support, and new work gets a fixed price in writing first.
What it costs
£49 a month, with no VAT to add. It's my most popular plan.
Need something different? I can shape a monthly plan to your site, priced after a call. Care+ is never required with a build. Cancel with 30 days' notice, and if you ever move on, you get everything within 10 working days.
Two add-ons are on the way: Catch it texts people whose call you miss, and Get reviewed asks customers for Google reviews. Once they launch, Care+ with both included will be £79 a month.

Your Google listing, looked after
Each month I add posts and photos to your Google Business Profile and keep your details up to date.
I advised D&G on getting Google reviews, and I now help manage its Google listing. It shows 5.0 from 215 reviews (checked Oct 2026).
The profile stays yours: I'm added as a manager, and you stay the owner. More on getting on Google.

Your site is backed up weekly, so there's a recent copy to go back to. Nobody can promise a site will never go wrong, so I won't.
He kept me updated throughout the process and has given me help and advice to prevent it happening again.

How much does website maintenance cost in Sunderland?

Is website maintenance necessary?
For most live sites, yes. Software needs updating, and a recent backup means one problem doesn't cost you the whole site.
What does monthly website maintenance include?
It varies by plan, so read the list. Mine is above, under "What Care+ covers".
How often should a website be updated?
The software, when new versions come out. Your words and photos, when your business changes. Care+ covers both.
What happens if your website gets hacked?
Message me straight away. On Care+, there's a weekly backup to go back to.
Can I only sign up for a care plan if you designed my website?
No. I'll look at your site first, and the Google-only version works wherever it's hosted.
