5.0 from 31 Google reviews (checked Nov 2026)I'm Luke Duff, and I offer salon website design for salons, beauty therapists, hair extension specialists, clinics, and skincare and wellbeing brands: sites that show your treatments and prices, get people booked in and sell your products if you have them. My health and beauty work is for Moss Minerals, a skincare brand (below). Yours would be my first salon site. I run every project myself, so you deal with me from the first message to launch and after it. I'm based in Sunderland and work with salons and clinics anywhere in the UK, on WhatsApp, the phone or Google Meet. Most websites cost between £1,500 and £5,000.
Health and beauty work
Moss Minerals sells health and skincare products. I tidied up its WordPress site, which has a blog and a disclaimer page, and linked it straight through to its online shop on SumUp.

Very happy with service, Luke couldn’t have helped enough and was at hand at all times with any queries and any help I needed during and after setting up my website
Your own website, or Fresha and Treatwell?
Keep the booking app if it's bringing you clients, and have your own website as well.
A booking marketplace puts you in front of people browsing for a treatment. But you're listed next to other salons, on the platform's terms. Your own website is the one place that's only about you: your treatments, your prices, your photos and your booking button.
The two work together. Your website's "Book now" button can go straight to your Fresha or Treatwell page, so your clients book the way they already do. If you'd rather take bookings on your own site, I can set that up too, from adding a booking tool to your site to a booking system built for you, priced after a call.
What a salon or wellbeing website needs
A client wants to know what you do, what it costs and how to book. Everything else comes after that.
- A treatment menu with pricesSo people can choose before they book.
- A booking button on every pageEasy to find, wherever someone lands.
- Change your own prices and photosUpdate your treatments, prices and photos yourself. Ask, and I'll walk you through it. Stacey at The Lovely Photo Company puts new shoots up from Google Drive without waiting on me.
- Photos of your salon, your team and your workYour own photos work best.
- Gift vouchersWith a clear way to buy one. I can build them into your site.
- Made for phonesTap to call and directions, on a site that works well on a phone.
- Your Google listing to matchYour Google listing and your website should show the same name, services and phone number.
Every site I build comes with a tap-to-call button, a WhatsApp button, a simple contact form and a link to your Google reviews. After launch, Care+ includes Google listing work.
Selling products as well
If you sell skincare, hair products or supplements, your website can sell them too.
There are two ways to do it. If you already use a shop platform, your site can link straight to it. That's how I set up Moss Minerals: the website carries the brand and the blog, and links through to its shop on SumUp.
If you'd rather sell on your own site, I build online shops with a basket and checkout, where you can add new products yourself. See how to sell your products online. Shops are priced after a call.

Treatment claims and client photos
Check what your treatment pages promise before they go live. The ASA, which regulates advertising in the UK, has advice for beauty and cosmetics businesses (opens in a new tab).
It says you need evidence for any claim about what a product does, and before-and-after photos mustn't exaggerate the result. Prescription-only treatments can't be advertised to the public, so for those the ASA says your website should promote a consultation rather than the product itself.
Only use a client's photo with their written OK. This isn't legal advice, so read the ASA's guidance for the treatments you offer.
From a free call to launch: 3 to 6 weeks for a standard site
Call.
You tell me about your salon or clinic, your treatments and how people book now. The call is free and takes 15 minutes.
Price.
I send you a fixed price in writing. You pay half to start.
Build.
I build it. You see the site on a private preview link before it goes live and send changes by WhatsApp or email. Two rounds of changes are included. Nothing gets added that you didn't ask for.
Launch.
You pay the other half, the site goes live, and it's yours.
A standard site takes 3 to 6 weeks. Once it's live, you can change your own treatments, prices and photos whenever you like.
What it costs
Most websites I build cost between £1,500 and £5,000, and smaller sites start at £795. Online shops and booking systems vary more, so I price them after a call.
Before I start, you get a fixed price in writing. You pay half to start and half before the site goes live. I'm not VAT registered, so the price you see is the total.
For a salon, the price mostly depends on how many pages you need, whether you take bookings or sell products, and who writes the words. My prices page explains what makes a price go up or down.
After launch, looking after the site is optional: Care+ website maintenance at £49 a month, or a plan shaped to your site, priced after a call.

What stays yours
Your web address is registered in your name from day one.
Once the site is paid for, it's yours, along with everything on it: the files, the words and the photos.
Your Google Business Profile stays yours. I'm added as a manager, and you stay the owner.
If you ever move on, you get everything within 10 working days.
I've written more about who owns your website.
Questions from salon and beauty owners
What's the best salon booking app?
I won't rank them. Pick the one your clients find easy and that fits how you work. Then make sure the booking button on your website goes straight to it. If you'd rather have booking on your own site, I can build that, priced after a call.
Are discount sites like Treatwell ruining my business?
They can bring in new clients, and for some owners that's worth what they pay. For others, the cost eats into what's left. Your own website gives you a booking route you control, alongside the app or instead of it. Your own figures will tell you which suits you.
Do I need a website if I'm already on Instagram?
Instagram and a booking app can bring you clients. A website is the place you control, in your own name, with your treatments, your prices and your booking button. If people check you out before they book, that's where you want them to land. Link the two both ways: your website in your Instagram bio, and your Instagram on your website. I've written more on whether you need a website if you're already on Google.
Can you add a shop to my salon website?
Yes. I can build an online shop into your site, with a basket and checkout. If you already sell through a shop platform, your site can link to it instead, as Moss Minerals does with SumUp. Shops are priced after a call.
Can I update my treatments and prices myself?
Yes. You can change your own words, prices and photos whenever you like, without paying me. If you're on Care+, small content changes are included, and it looks after the technical side: hosting, updates and weekly backups.
